Stuffed Peaches or Nectarines

This is an easy dessert to make and tasty. The stuffing is a little different from the usual Italian style stuffing. Serve 4

Ingredients
4 ripe peaches, 1 per person
50 gm unsalted butter, softened
1 full tbsp. soft brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 level tbsp. ground almonds
2 tbsp. full cream powder milk/mawa/coffee mate
2 tbsp. raisins
Juice of 2 oranges
Instructions
Soak raisins in warm water for a couple of hours before you make this dish.
Preheat the oven to 180?C, gas mark 4.
Cut peaches in half, remove stones and place on a buttered, ovenproof dish cut side up.
Mix together all the other ingredients with a fork, until we?ll mixed and smooth.
Divide the mix into 8 portions roughly and spoon one portion into the cavity of each peach half.
Pour the orange juice around the peaches.
Place the dish into an hot oven and B
bake for 30-35 minutes, until the peaches feel soft to touch.
Cool to room temperature before serving.
Serve with a little of the orange juice from around the leaves and a little bit of unsweetened single cream or vanilla ice-cream.
