Ham and Cheese Savoury Cake

This is a French savoury cake, pronounced "salay". It is usually served as a starter and can be made with meat, fish or vegetables.
Ingredients
200g plain flour
4 eggs
8 tablespoons milk
75 gm. butter, melted
150 gm. of grated or small cubed cheese
150 gm. of small cubed ham (smoked works really well)
5 gm. or 1/2 packet of baking powder
Heat oven to 180C, 350F or Gas mark 4.
Put the flour in a bowl. Incorporate one after another: eggs, milk, melted butter and baking powder.
Mix well then add the ham and cheese and mix again.
Pour into cake or bread pan and bake for one hour.
Serve hot or cold with a salad.
