Cranberry Sauce with Port
Cranberry Sauce with Port
Andrew Taylor
Cranberry sauce is always served with roast turkey at a Christmas meal, in UK, USA and Canada. In USA and Canada, it is also an integral part of a Thanksgiving meal. It is very nice served with chicken too and in leftover turkey/chicken sandwiches. It can be made ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator for months. In its basic form, it is really very easy to make. Some people add other flavours like orange peel, port, ginger, mixed spice etc.
