Coriander and Mint Chutney and Mayonnaise Dressing
Mango Chutney and Mayonnaise Dressing
Mamta Gupta
This is a tasty combination of one popular dish from India with another one from the west. It can be used as a salad dressing, as a dipping sauce to serve with savoury things like samosas and sausage rolls and as a sandwich spread.
You can try adding Sweet Mango Chutney, chilli sauces of various sorts, hot English mustard, tomato ketchup, brown sauce and mint sauce to mayonnaise, to name a few. Mayonnaise and the Chinese Smoked Chilli Oil also make a great sandwich spread/dipping sauce.

Ingredients
1/2 cup Green Mint and Coriander Chutney
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
Coarsely ground black pepper to taste
See notes above to find out other things that you can try adding to mayonnaise.
Instructions
Place everything in a bowl and stir with a fork to mix well, no more. No need to beat it!
Store in an airtight jar in a fridge. This will last for up to a week in the fridge with Green Mint and Coriander Chutney. Other ready made sauces will last for longer. I usually make a small bowl, enough to use up in a day or two.
