Ingredients

  • 1 cup yoghurt

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup fruit* (strawberry, peach, banana, mango, blueberry* or any other soft fruit)

  • 1/2 cup sugar or to taste. Use sweetener for diabetics.

  • 2-3 cubes of ice per glass

  • *Frozen fruits can be used for making lassi. If you have a large freezer, freeze fruit when in season.

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except ice in a liquidizer and blend.

  2. When using fruits like blueberries, pass through a strainer to remove bits of skin.

  3. Put ice cubes in chilled, tall glasses. Pour lassi on top of cubes and serve with drinking straws.

  4. *If using fruits like blueberries, it is best to sieve the lassi to remove any bits of skin floating around.
