Kachumbar Salad North Indian

Mixed Salad 5, North Indian Style

Mamta Gupta

This is a simple salad, served in many North Indian homes. It is eaten only in small quantities, almost like a pickle. Ingredients can vary from season to season. You don't have to use all the listed vegetables, they are there to give an idea. Usually 3-4 vegetables are mixed. All vegetables are grated and mixed, with a simple lime or lemon dressing. Serves 6-8
