Purple Broccoli Stir Fried Chinese Style

Ingredients
300 gm. purple broccoli spears or ordinary broccoli cut into thin florets
1 tsp. chopped ginger
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. light Soya sauce
A sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Heat oil in a wok.
Add ginger and garlic and stir fry on high for a few minutes, until pieces begin to turn brown.
Add broccoli spears, Soya sauce, black peppers and stir fry until cooked. The finished vegetable should be a little crunchy, not over cooked.
Serve hot with meats or vegetarian foods.
Notes
This recipe works with ice-berg or cos lettuce too. Use the ones that have passed their 'best by' date.
