Chinese Sauce for Roast Duck/Pork

This sauce can be served with roast, barbecued or even fried meats.

Ingredients

  • 1 table spoon Hoi Sin sauce

  • 2 table spoon Soy sauce

  • 2 table spoon honey

  • 1 tea spoon finely chopped ginger

  • 2 clove garlic, crushed

  • 1/4 tea spoon salt

  • 1/4 tea spoon pepper

  • 2 table spoon water

Instructions

  1. Combine the above in a small saucepan and heat gently, stir mixture until honey melts and all are smoothly mixed, for 5 minutes. Add water if it is too thick. Strain mixture into a serving dish. You can proportionately increase the amount to get any amount you need.
