Tomato Stuffed with Avocado - A Salad

If you make this salad, please send in your pictures.
We had this simple but nice salad on one of our holidays, probably in one of the South American countries. This is the result of trial and a lot of errors, to get the amounts right! Addition of Tabasaco (hot chilli sauce) gives it an unsual kick, but you might want to make it without it.
Serves 4
Ingredients
4 medium, ripe but firm tomatoes
2 large or 3 small avocados
1/4 - 1/2 red onion, peeled and very finely chopped
1 tsp. chilli powder/flakes
Juice of one lime
1 tsp. ground sugar or sweetener
1/4 tsp. or less Tabasco sauce
1 tsp. salt
8 crisp lettuce leaves
Instructions
Slice the top of each tomato and scoop out seeds and flesh
Cut avocados in half, twist both halves in opposite direction. This will loosen the flesh from the stone.
Scoop out the flesh in a bowl. Mash with a fork.
Add onion, chilli powder/flakes, Tabasco, lime juice and salt, mix well.
Divide into 8 portions and stuff each tomato with this mix.
Serve over lettuce, with fresh, warm bread.
You can serve a Salad Dressing of choice with it.
You can add 1 tbsp. chopped coriander leaves and/or 1 sliced green chilli to the avocado mix.
