Orange or Lemon Squash
Santre/ Nimbu ka Squash

This is a very quick drink to make. As it has no additives, make only a small amount at a time. Our mother, Amma, used to make it like this.
Ingredients
1 litre fresh orange or Lemon juice
1 kg. sugar
Instructions
Place both ingredients in a pan and bring to boil. Boil for one minute.
Allow to cool and bottle and keep in the fridge.
To serve, dilute required amount of squash with enough cold water to suit your taste and add ice.
Notes
To keep it longer, add a pinch of sodium benzoate.
