Ginger Biscuits 1

Biscuits are relatively easy to make at home and much nicer that ready-made ones.
Ingredients
120 gm. self-raising flour
2 tsp. ginger powder
1 level dessert spoon full caster sugar
A pinch of salt
1/2 level tsp. bicarbonate of soda
60 gm. butter at room temperature
60 gm. honey or golden syrup
Instructions
Turn the oven on to 180C or Gas 5,
Grease or line a baking tray with baking paper. Keep aside.
Place dry ingredients, butter and honey/golden syrup in a bowl.
Fold them in with a spatula.
Knead to make a smooth dough.
Spread a greaseproof paper on a kitchen surface.
Place the dough on top and roll it out to about 3-4 mm thickness.
Cut into any shape, lift and place on a nonstick or lined baking tray.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Oven performance vary, so keep an eye for last few minutes.
