Pineapple Raita (Yoghurt)

This raita is nice with very hot Indian food. It is an Indian version of pineapple yoghurt. Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup approximately pineapple, finely chopped

  • 2 cups yoghurt or dahi

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 tbs. honey

Instructions

  1. Place yoghurt, salt, pepper and honey in a bowl and beat lightly.

  2. Add and stir in pineapple pieces.

  3. Serve chilled with an Indian meal.
