Onion and Tomato Raita (Yoghurt)

This a simple yet delicious raita.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural yoghurt

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 small red onion-chopped

  • 1 small tomato-deseeded and chopped

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. Chat Masala. Chat masala can be added to many raitas)

  • 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Bbeat yoghurt, milk, salt, pepper and chat masala, until smooth.

  2. Chop onion and tomatoes and add to the yogurt. Mix.

  3. Serve chilled with any Indian meal.

Notes

  • You can also add 1/2 cup of chopped cucumber and 1 greem chilli, chopped.
