Smoked Salmon and Avocado Dip

Fish Main Seafood Snack Starter

This is a very quick dip to make and it tastes delicious. You can serve it with Pitta bread or Nan or small pieces of toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of smoked salmon
  • 1 ripe avocado pear, peeled and stone removed and mashed
  • 2 tbsp. good quality mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • A little freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. fresh dill leaves or parsley leaves, finely chopped, to garnish

Instructions

  1. Drain oil off the fish and mash it with a fork.
  2. Add all other ingredients except dill or parsley. Mix well
  3. Adjust seasoning.
  4. Garnish with dill or parsley.
  5. Serve cool with hot bread of any type.
