Pineapple Raita (Yoghurt)
Ananas Raita
This raita is nice with very hot Indian food. It is an Indian version of pineapple yoghurt.
Don't worry about the blue chopping board, I don't use it for fish/seafood.
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 cup approximately pineapple, finely chopped
- 2 cups yoghurt or dahi
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. honey, adjust to taste
Instructions
- Pell, remove core and chop pineapple into small pieces.
- Place yoghurt, salt, pepper in a bowl and beat lightly.
- Add and stir in chopped pineapple pieces.
- Stir in honey.
- Serve chilled on its own or with an Indian meal.
