Onion and Tomato Raita (Yoghurt)
Pyaz, Tamatar Raita
This a simple yet delicious raita.
Ingredients
- 1 cup natural yoghurt
- 1 small red onion - chopped
- 1 small tomato - deseeded and chopped finely
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Chaat Masala Mix - A Hot Spice Mix for Spicy Street Foods. Chat masala can be added to many raitas)
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Instructions
- Beat yoghurt, milk, salt, pepper and chat masala, until smooth.
- Chop onion and tomatoes and add to the yogurt. Mix.
- Serve chilled with any Indian meal.
Notes
- You can also add 1/2 cup of chopped cucumber and 1 greem chilli, chopped.
