Corn Raita (Yoghurt)

Easy Free From Garlic Free From Ginger Free From Onion Indian Main Side Vegan Vegetarian

This is a very quick recipe to make, especially if you used precooked, tinned corn.

Ingredients

  • 240 gm. or 8 oz. plain yoghurt
  • 240 gm. or 8 oz. tin of kernel of corn or bhutta dana, drained
  • 1 small tomato - seeded and chopped
  • 1 tsp. cumin seeds - dry roasted and coarsely ground
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp. fresh coriander leaves - chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 small red onion, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat yoghurt lightly.
  2. Add and mix all ingredients together and place in a serving bowl.
  3. Garnish with a few chopped coriander leaves.
  4. Chill and serve.
