Corn Raita (Yoghurt)
Bhutta Raita
This is a very quick recipe to make, especially if you used precooked, tinned corn.
Ingredients
- 240 gm. or 8 oz. plain yoghurt
- 240 gm. or 8 oz. tin of kernel of corn or bhutta dana, drained
- 1 small tomato - seeded and chopped
- 1 tsp. cumin seeds - dry roasted and coarsely ground
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp. fresh coriander leaves - chopped
- 1 green chilli chopped
- 1 small red onion, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Beat yoghurt lightly.
- Add and mix all ingredients together and place in a serving bowl.
- Garnish with a few chopped coriander leaves.
- Chill and serve.
