Coriander Leaves Raita (Yoghurt)

Easy Free From Garlic Free From Ginger Free From Onion Free From Tomato Indian Main Side Vegan Vegetarian

All amounts are approximate, adjust to taste.

Serves 4 as a side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of thick, fresh yoghurt (dahi)
  • A handful of coriander leaves, washed, drained and chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped. Add more, if you like hot food.
  • Salt to taste
  • A good sprinkle of freshly ground, coarse black pepper
  • For garnish:
  • A large pinch of roasted cumin seeds coarsely ground
  • A few coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place everything except garnish ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork.
  2. Serve chilled, garnished with coriander leaves and roast cumin.
