Banana and Cucumber Raita (Yoghurt)
Kele aur Kheere ka Raita
This is an easy and tasty side dish to any Indian meal.
Ingredients
- 2 cups thick and creamy natural yoghurt
- 1 ripe banana-peeled and chopped
- 1 small or 1/2 large cucumber-peeled and finely chopped
- 10-12 mint leaves-finely chopped
- 4-5 mint leaves for garnish
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. honey (optional)
Instructions
- Beat yoghurt with salt, honey, mint leaves and salt.
- Add and mix bananas and cucumber.
- Decorate with a few mint leaves.
- Serve chilled.
- You can add one chopped green chilli, if you like.
