Banana and Almond Milk Shake
Banana and Almond Milk Shake
A simple but tasty, nourishing, cool drink. Serves. I sometimes have it as my breakfast.
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 2 glasses cold milk
- 2 small or 1 large ripe bananas, peeled and roughly sliced
- 1 tbsp. sugar or sugar substitute (to taste), only if required. I don't normally add sugar
- 8 blanched/peeled almonds
- A few strands of saffron, if you have some
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 10-15 seconds maximum. Do not blend for too long.
- Pour in individual glasses, over 1-2 cubes of ice if you wish.
- Serve straight away.
Notes
- You can make milk shakes like this from most seasonal fruits.
