Hi Mamta, you say to use full fat yoghurt in your recipes but I can never find it in the supermarket. All I see is low fat or fat free. Would greek style yoghurt be suitable?

I always use 'greek style' yoghurt - that shows up at 10% fat which has always worked well.

Guest, where are you shopping? Can you name any of the supermarkets, maybe we can look online and see which brands/ yoghurts they stock and whether any would suit.

I mostly make my own yoghurt, but Greek style yoghurt (not low fat) is absolutely fine.

Hi, I have a large tesco's and asda nearby so if you could suggest other brands or types of yoghurt that would be suitable, that would be great. Thanks for the replies!

Guest, it won't say full fat on the pot, instead, you need to avoid the low fat / fat free ones.

So for example, if you find a pot that just says natural yoghurt or Greek natural yoghurt, but doesn't mention at all that it's low fat, fat free or anything about fat content, that's the one!

If you really want to use low fat yoghurt, let it be at room temperature and add a tsp of cornflour to it before adding to a dish that is cooking. Then it is much less likely to split during cooking.
