Just thought I'd share this with you, as an example of taking something you are used to and making it a bit different.

Its Sunday and traditionally its the big Fry up for breakfast... Egg, Bacon, Mushrooms, Blackpudding, baked beans, tomatoes, fried bread etc... a big plate full of food.. well this morning I decided to rework it..Something I've done several times with making it into sandwiches, omelettes, as filling with cheese toast and even as a breakfast pizza. However this mornings was one step further into the World of sureal !

have a look at the picture

Wow! That looks really special! So how did it go with the family, in comparison to your usual fry-up?

It was for me, also made standard fry up for other half... I really liked it.. could be on the menu again from time to time...

I think its only the title that makes it sound weird...

If I'd called it "rich tomato soup with a medley of meat" or something along those lines....

looks interesting... Next time you make it, assuming you will, try adding half a teaspoon of garam masala to the baked beans.

Really made me chuckle this, did you do it on the spur of the moment or was it planned? Looks great no mater how you decided to do it, Garam Masala in the beans? Of course and don't forget a bit of chilli and..... and.....The mind bogles what you could do with this. :)

Oh it reminds me a little of Middle Eastern/ North African dishes where eggs are poached in the tomato sauce, which often contains meat, though usually meatballs rather than bacon etc.

Nice reworking!
