Hel?p, I've spent all morning making a lamb curry and on tasting discover it's too salty, anyone have any suggestions to rectify this please
Hmmm in a tight spot here.............what about adding some cream to it or even better -- coconut milk (which goes very well with chicken curry).......if you are not interested in these then i will have to shout with you ---HELP.
Thanks Rajneesh! Have added a little cream, very slight improvement, also tried a spot of lemon juice, may just have to put plenty of water out for guests...
The best solution is to make some more curry without salt and add that. Otherwise, you need to add some more ingredients. If yoghurt/cream doesn't work, you can boil some potatoes, chop them and add to the curry, along with a little water. You could add some wilted or tinned (unsalted) spinach or a cup of peas. But this is to a limited extent only, otherwise all your spices/taste will be diluted.
