I've just realised that it says you can buy an entire acre of land which is home to all our wonderful animals, plants and birds... no wonder developers buy it up when its so cheap...

Yeah... I know but...don't forget we're talking about prices in remote parts of Ecuador and Brazil and poor parts of India...

Actually prices have gone up somewhat and they are about to raise their certificate price to ?50 for an acre which will better cover costs of buying and protecting it.

But as I started my fundraiser before this re-pricing they've offered to stick to the ?25/acre in terms of providing a certificate to commemorate the amount raised.

Smallest donation the site will accept is ?2 and I'm as grateful for the small ones as the large - I know not everyone can afford large donations.

Just a quick post to let you know that I'm going to bring the sponsorship thing to a close at the end of this year.
