Would anybody have a recipe for a Sagorana recipe,preferably Lamb?

I had not even heard of it until you asked!!

Perhaps it's the British Curry as it is appearing on many restaurant lists. The one I get seems to be liberally mixed with mushrooms & spinach but I understand other recipes include egg or minced meat. One other thing, could it be an engagement meal?

It could be Martin, none of my friends have heard of it either!

PS Sago could be for Sag=a green leafed vegetable, often used synonymously for spinach. Not sure what rana means; may a raan or leg, as in leg of lamb or something!

Would 'Sagorana' be attributable to an 'Engagement' at all? I've a recollection of seeing this mentioned when I was searching in the Internet.

This is what I found;

Chicken Sagorana

Whole chicken marinated in specially selected aromatic spices slowly roasted in the oven served on a bed of crispy salad and a selection of vegetable side dishes.
