Are you sure this is an Indian dish? Looking on the internet, it looks like a Chinese recipe to me? Describe what you ate in restaurant please.

Yeah i have had the problem that im only getting the chinese version which i've ate at a chinese but it is completely different to the indian version i've had.

I've looked on the website of an indian i go to and there decription of it is :Tandoori Garlic Chilli Chicken (tandoori flavoured chicken cooked in sauce made of seedless chilli, yogurt, indian mustard and many other spices) I've had it at quite a few places but there seems to be no mention or recipe of it anywhere?

Sorry, I don't have a recipe for it at present and have no time to try and experiment just now. Your best bet is asking the restaurant by buttering up the chef!

Thank you Shivani

This looks simple but nice. I will give it a try one of these days. If you make it again, will you take a few good pictures and send them to me via 'contact' link above? I know everyone loves it in India. I had the 'chilli Paneer' version on my last visit there in March 2008, it was tasty. I am sure it had some green pepper/capsicum too.

Ajinomoto is monosodium glutamate, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monosodium_glutamate
