I want the recipe for Chicken Angara...
Plz..
This curry is hot, they put the coal on the chicken & put some butter .....(for some smoky flavor)
I don't have the proper recipe for it.
Hello again Aqsa
As I mentioned in my mail to you, the word Angara means red hot cinder or ember, a burning coal/charcoal. Angara could also mean simply hot. It could mean a hot curry, with or without a smoky flavour.
The smoky flavour is probably given by putting a burning charcoal (in a small cup) on top of the curry and closing the lid. It could also be given by giving it a 'tarka' or tempering using a cast iron ladle.
Otherwise, the recipe on the web look similar to a curry with nuts.
I hope this makes some sense to you.
