Luckily I have been given some pheasants. One I'll braise European style. However does anyone have suggestions as to recipes I can adapt or other ideas to experiment as to the best way to cook others Indian style?

I cooked the pheasant indian style once but was not satisfied about the results, maybe it had less flesh than chicken and taste was so so. I would rather marinate and tandoor it (or use oven).
