Thank you for your query. I have made this naan quite a few times and it always comes out well. Personally, I do not measure the water for most doughs, only when I am writing a recipe. So, it is possible that the amount did not work for you. I will try the dough again and let you know. As I have just returned from a long trip away, it may take a couple of weeks to catch up.
