Many years ago I had a friend cook me a lovely Lamb Patia, sweet sour and hot. I have never been able to find a decent recipe for such a dish, in fact I think there is only one recipe on this site. Has anyone got a nice Patia recipe, Lamb or whatever, (apart from Prawn) Thanks in advance, Alan.
Patia is an India-Parsee dish. If you notice, prawn Patia recipe is not mine. It has however come out quite nice whenever I have made it. I will see if I can locate a good recipe for you.
This has puzzled me for years. One of the earliest Indan restaurant meals I enjoyed was chicken patia, back in the 70's. I never managed to replicate it, though I figured it was hot and sour. Do any of the recipes contain yoghurt?

with a recipe like this, you have to balance the heat, sweet and sour just before serving. Its not easy!
