On Sunday I was making roast beef, potatoes, veg etc but my sister in law has been asking for me to make Stamna again as she liked it the first time I made it. So I made a small portion of that while I was going about the rest of food. However due to rushing? concentration?.. ?? I accidently grabbed chili powder rather than paprika from my cupboard and promptly added one heaped tsp of it!.
Now with raw meat in there I couldn't really do a taste and it wasn't until later that I realised what I'd done....
However it did seem to make a whole new and interesting dish... sort of a beef madras... it would need a little less cinnamon and maybe some methi seeds in with the onions, handfull of corriander and I think I'd have a new dish....
I might give it a go one day....
Anyone else invented by mistake like this.. ?
