Hi,
I'm a regular user of your wonderful cooking recepies.
When I got married 11 months back, I was actually a big Zero in cooking and husband with 24 hrs watery tongue...! I was so worried about my cooking and many times I faced lots and lot's of humiliation at my in-laws place. Then one day I thought let's learn cooking and try if there is any good site available for cooking.. And guess WHAT??? I came across with your website. I thought let's try if it works, and actually it worked... The first dish I tried was your Shami Kababs. Vow! The taste was 1000 times better I expected. My husband was so very surprised and now he loves to come home early just to satisfy his hunger. No, It's not a joke and nor even any kind of flattering to you. I must thank thank and thank you and your team for making me a successful wife and a cook. Earlier I was so scared of entering in the kitchen but now I love to be in the kitchen.
Everyday I look into your site to find out something new to me. I gave your reference to everyone I know, my sisters in U.S and Netherlands and my in-laws in India. They all love to eat anything prepared by me without hesitating and I enjoys cooking for them.
Once again thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
I love you Mamta's kitchen.
With regards,
Chhaya Patrick Tiwari.

Hello Chhaya Patrick Tiwari
What a beautiful and peaceful name you have! I am slightly curious about your middle name!
Thank you from myself and my team (my daughter Kavita and her hisband Pete) for your nice comments, this is praise indeed! It is lovely for us to hear from people when our site helps them out. This is the reason it was started, to help people have access to home recipes, rather than restaurant style food.
Yes, cooking can be addictive. It also helps if people who eat your efforts praise you, so you are very lucky in that.
I note that you live in Kolkata. May I ask you a favour? I have never been able to make the famous Bengali sweet Rashogulla and Rasmalai well. I have tried recipes sent to me by so many people, including one or two from supposedly Bengali Mithai wallahs. None is as good as the shop one though they are passable. So, if you know an obliging sweet maker, I would love to have their recipe, which, if it works, will be posted here under their name. If you can find it, please send the recipe via the ?contact? link above.

It appears most people almost accidently stumble on to this site and find the results are far better than you could possible have hoped for - and then you find yourself drawn back here time and time again....
Really pleased the site has been so useful for you and has inspired you into the kitchen!
