I saw the new bacon and mushroom pasta recipe just posted under new recipes. I recently tried something similar. I cooked 1 pound of bacon until crisp (put bacon strips on a jelly roll pan in a 400 degree oven until done is the easiest way)and crumble the bacon. Cook one pound of penne pasta and drain. Defrost 1 c. of frozen peas. Finely dice 1-2 deseeded roma tomatoes. Saute mushrooms until tender with some garlic. Make or buy alfredo sauce. Combine everything. Add 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese and ground black pepper to taste.

That's one of my recipes and it's been on the site for a couple of years at least! I know it hasn't been listed under 20 newest recipes or even made it to the top 20 recipes for the month so not sure where you saw it listed!
