I have seen a mixer (KenStar brand)used to pureer spinach for a dish such as saag paneer.
I have not seen such a piece of kitchen equipment sold at any nearby store. Can a blender be used to create the same kind of consistency? (I would either use fresh or frozen boiled spinach and then put it in the blender with green chilis and whatever other spices are to be added. Not sure if I need to add cream. I really don't need it!) I am concerned that I might create a spinach liquid drink instead of a thicker puree. (I don't have a food processer, just a blender.)
Blender should be fine for pureeing spinach. Just don't add too much water. I use a large blender or a hand held blender, depending upon how much spinach I need to puree. Spinahc for saag paneer does have to have some liquid in it anyway, so you shouldn't have any problem there.
