Hi Mamta,

I was looking at Millet Meal for Children(Ragi Halwa) recipe and it requires millet seeds which are grounded in a grinder. I was also planning to buy Millet flour to make roti and was wondering if I can use Millet flour for the Ragi Halwa recipe??? or Ican find Millet seeds very easily too from the grocery store...Please advice.

Thanks!

Hello Jasmine

Yes, you can use millet flour instead of seeds. You will have to dry roast the flour first, to take the 'raw' taste away.

To ensure purity, better grind the seeds, better still to sprout the seeds.
