My daughter is coming here to the South of France from Edinburgh this weekend, so we're planning a Mamta's Kitchen weekend:

Friday dinner: Mum's chicken curry. Delish!

Saturday lunch: saag aloo with paneer, made from Mamta's recipe

Sunday lunch: Steve Lister's chicken mulligatawny soup

Sunday dinner: any ideas?

The only deviation from Indian stuff will be veal escalopes in white wine and cream sauce with girolles mushrooms, on Saturday evening.

Mamta's green tomato chutney is fab: I ought to wait a while, but, like Mamta, I can't help but eat some of it now.

Any ideas of what I'd be best to serve it with? Currently, I use it for snacking: goes well with cheese.

Can I come too Phil LOL!

How about some tandoori fish for Sunday dinner, perhaps with a simple pilaf and raita?

I love green chutney in cheese sandwiches, on buttered toast, on a hot pitta/naan bread; with grilled cheese and tomato chutney on top. Also nice with plain/peas pilaf rice. Added to yoghurt, it makes a nice raita.

Thanks for the suggestions, folks! Lamb or fish are interesting suggestions: I was tempted to do Mamta's delicious chicken jalfrezi, but that'd be too much chicken in one weekend. So many wonderful dishes to choose from on this website!
