We're very happy to share the news that London-based fabs of Mamta's Kitchen can now enjoy two dishes based on Mamta's basic curry sauce at Leon restaurants. Their new autumn winter menu launches on the 28th September.

To read more about how this came to be, visit Kavey Eats (from 28th September onwards).

And if you do visit Leon and sample the sauce, do let us know what you think!

Thanks Steve, it's a lot of fun.

Hopefully, when mum's available, we'll make a visit to one of the locations, meet Henry and Toph there, and try the menu items for ourselves!

Thanks are all down to Henry for granting the wish and Toph for making it happen!

Great pictures seeing Mamta's curry sauce being made in industrial quantities!

I'm certainly intrigued so will volunteer to be a mystery diner/shopper.

Haaa Winton, I think they don't have any problems finding volunteers for mystery dining, assuming they even do such a thing! ;)

Rajneesh, as per the link, it's not the exact original recipe, but it's been adapted from that. The end result I tasted at the factory was really pretty close to the original, so it's certainly a close sibling!

Well done kav, congratulations. Your hard work paid off. I just showed nani (my mum) your blog and Leon's menu. She gave me a hug and said, "well done. It was worth teaching you how to cook then!" LOL!

Hi Mamta,

Are you in India nowadays?

Mum is visiting her family for short trip!

We're missing her lots here at home but she'll be back soon!

Ma, of course the teaching was worth it even without any of this MK lark, after all, how do you think Neeta and I developed to have love of good food, if not from you (and Pop)?

Rajneesh, I am in Roorkee near Haridwar this morning, leaving for Noida this afternoon. Then a quick visit to to Delhi, Jaipur, Gurgaon (just visiting siblings) and then back home.

I haven't picked any new recipes so far this trip. I wanted to learn Bengali Rasgullas, properly, but no 'halwaai' is prepared to share their secret with me :-(!
