mamta g main makki ki roti 3-4 bar try ki, banti to thik hai par cook hone ke bad sokhi c ,pappad jaisi ho jati hai,pls aap bataye ki soft kyu nahi rehti.

Makka ki roti garam, garam hi khane ki hoti hain. Thandi hone per wo kadi (hard) ho jaati hain. Agar pahle se bana ke rakhni hai to 'undercook them'. Phir aek ke ooper aek stack bana kar rakkhen. Khane se pahle, bahut garam, pre-heated grill ke neeche garam karen yaa aag per sainken. Phir ghi lagaa kar serve karen, straihght away.

Agar roti kadi ho jaye to mein uske upar thoda panii chidak deta hoon aur usko microwave kar deta hoon (dhak kar),is se roti naram ho jaati hai. Magar taaza makki ki roti ki baat hi nirali hai ...Bhaii Wah!!!! Makki ki roti te sarsoon da saag.
Makka ki roti (corn meal roti) and sarson ka saag (mustard greens/leaves saag) are one of my many favourite meals :-)!
