Hello Mamta

Hope this finds you well.

Wondering if you or any of your other readers have any idea about a lovely my sister and I remember having when growing up.

I know there was mince that was cooked that had lots or coriander, chilli and wonderful flavours. It was sort of stuffed in a pancake type batter, then it was bread crumbed and lightly fried and served with chutney(mint I think)

I do remember having it in Mumbai but am not sure if it was a dish from that area.

Thanks for any ideas

Warmest regards

June

Hello JL

Was it a meat (keema) bonda?

I make a potato version, but haven't tried making a meat one. I can't imagine it will be too difficult. Have a look here;

My vegetarian versions;

Potato Bonda

Bonda Rolls

If this is what you are looking for, you can use either off my recipe, using the Kofta Meat Balls as the centres.
