Honour the gurus
I think from time to time it is nice to raise a thread to praise our honourable Indian cookery guru, Mamata Gupta -- a person who answers everyone's questions and is always on hand to advise us when we need assistance. How many people out there provide such assistance? I think this thread should be devoted to Mamta and her continued support. I for one appreciate ALL of Mamta's advice. I also think we should honour, Lapis -- Mamta's Kitchen's resident scientist who also offers fantastic advice and answers so many questions from a scientific stand point. Basically this forum is made up of good hearts and good advice and I think from time to time we should honour that and make our appreciation known.

Indeed, I think we all share in the thanks to each and every person that contributes to this site including those like Pete working (mostly)behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.

Lapis for prime minister not mayor. Everyone else can have a medal and I'll just be the psycho cook who is the type of person you wouldn't want to introduce to your parents or let loose in your kitchen.

my thanks to Mamta, and her family and helpers for a great place to here about cooking Indian food, as its supposed to be cooked...........
Just adding my thanks. My Indian cookbooks are now redundant as I only use this site for all recipes.
Those recipes that I cannot find, well I ask and always get a quick response if not from Mamta herself then from someone else who has the skills and know how.
I have referred so many of my family and friends to this site.

Yeah, thanks to everyone for making this place what it is. Everybody plays a roll I guess. I have done my fair bit in raising topics so that google will pick up on them LOL!!
