i have been making curries for years now, and followed many different recipes and made up a few of my own but am looking for a recipe that has a sweet flavour,i have smelt them cooking and have nearly knocked on doors to ask for the recipe but feel i cant be that rude so can anyone help.I had one years ago which had sultanas in but i know it would need more than just that to make the flavour i am looking for. Plaese can anyone help me, thanks

Smells sweet?. maybe thats just the onions sweating off as they do turn to sugars as they are cooked right down.

You used to be able to get powdered curry mixes in a little paper packet that had currants/raisens in them !
