SaLams Mamta , Steve & all, i wanted to share a gud news with u all . i had a baby boy last december.Mashallah he is now 7months & i have been sooooo bzee from a year & a half that was hardly in touch.Sorry for that ! i had a bad pregnancy & went thru a surgery but wen i see my baby i thank ALLAH for his blessing & its worth all the pain. his name is Hamza ! now want to lose weight as i have put on a hell lot of a weight !!!!!!! im 25kg over weight after my pregnancy !
please anyone suggest me good weight reducing tips !
Congratulations on the birth of your baby, it's good to see you here.
I guess all the obvious tips are to reduce fat content in one's food, which is made easier by reducing volume of meat/ protein whilst increasing amount of vegetables, using less fat, cream and butter in cooking, and eating less rich foods.
Of course, exercise is the other element too.
I am very bad at dieting so wish you luck!

Walekum Salaam and many congratulations :-) to you and your husband. There is nothing that comes close to the pleasure when you see the face of your first born. There is something extra magical about it!

As for loosing weight, the basic principal is to eat less calories than your body needs, so it burns some from the deposits. However, it may not be easy to do it by yourself, if you have to reduce a lot. It is worth asking your GP's practice nurse for help or joining a good, supportive group. Try not to go on any fad diets, they do not work long term.
