in a few weeks time I?m traveling to London. I would love to buy an idli maker and a masala dabba(hope this written correct). Does anybody know a shop, where I can get those?

I don't know shops in London by name, but I am sure many in Wembley, Kingsbury and South Hall areas will sell both Idli Stand and spice box. The on-line supplier recommended on each of our recipes also stocks both and should be able to deliver it to any address of your choice.

I hope some London people will reply to your query.

I bought one of my idli steamers from a shop in Green Street, Upton Park, along with a sev extruder and tava. If you need more details please reply. I bought another idli steamer on-line, it was 4 times the price of the store bought one, thin metal, but slightly bigger. Both came with whistles, cute. I would recommend Green Street for anything Indian.
