I like the look of this pickle. When made, how should it be stored, and what would be it's shelf-life?

Well Martin, I keep mine on the shelf for more than 3-4 months, I only make about 1-2 jars at a time. As long as the jars are sterilised and there is no water on the garlic cloves, there should not be a problem in storing it for at least a year, perhaps even longer.
