How long does the perboiled fruit cake keep, without feedingvit with alcohol?

I guess it will last 2-4 months, depending upon where you live and how hot it is there. You can keep it in the fridge in an airtight container.

I often make a large one, cut it into smaller blocks, wrap it in foil and freeze it. It has lasted well for me for up to 6 months, but can you can stay away from it that long ;)?
