What have been your food highlights this summer?
For us, it was baby goat in goat's milk cheese in the harbour area in Chania, Western Crete, and Basque tapas in the old quarter in San Sebastian: wonderful!

For me, I think it's been the opportunity to attend so many special events, that I've been invited to as a food blogger. I've been able to meet and learn from some amazing professionals, try some great food and drink and socialise with other foodies.
It's been FAB!
June, July and August have been particurly busy!

One ought not to be snobbish about people who aren't interested in food and don't care much what they eat, but I must say, I'm baffled by that phenomenon.

I agree... I don't feel snobbish about it but I guess baffled is accurate.
Then again, I KNOW some people are baffled at my utter lack of interest in shoes or handbags, in football or tennis, in sunning myself on the beach, in watching reality TV...
I know it's just horses for courses but... good food is SO fantastic!
