Some say they store almost indefinitely if dry & cool.

Delia says 4 weeks in fridge.

Suppliers say 7C or below till BBE date - which is not on the pack!!

Tim good point you don't know how they've been stored, transported or generally handled prior to you getting them !

I am sure they last for a lot longer than 4 weeks, certainly a few months. Most people have them in their lareder for a long while. If in doubt, put them in the freezer after opening the pack.

Brother-in-law (much time in Malaysia etc) keeps them in a cupboard indefinitely. But he does use them!

I shall freeze them.
