I have made some splendid pork mince patties flavoured with Thai ingredients which I have frozen.
My question is, do I need to defrost the patties before grilling or can this be done from frozen?

It is better if you de-frost them, to make sure that the meat is cooked through. Frozen takes longer to cook. You can cook them slowly from frozen, say at 180 C (170 in fan oven) for about 35-40 minutes.
Let's see what otheres think.
If you are going to cook them well (ie not leave them a bit pink in the middle) then from frozen would be ok... if not then defrosting would be the better route
