I don't know if you have looked at Mamta's recipe for Chickpea Curry on this site, but if you scroll down to the notes section at the bottom it appears Mamta also uses potatoes !

I suppose it depends on where you live, who taught you, what you like etc.. some people might use more potato and less chickpeas etc..

You can make chickpea curry in many ways. I recently had a South Indian version, where 'tarka' was given with mustrd seeds and curry leaves and coconbut cream was added to the gravy. It was delicious and I mean to try it, as soon as I get a chanve.
