Hi folks,

I have bought a bag of frozen veg and separately lamb samosas from my asian grocers. The instructions on the back advise to deep fry. There is no mention of oven baking.

Can anyone advise whether I could bake them instead or is 'samosa pastry' not suitable for such cooking?

Pastry for oven baking is different from the one for frying, more like a short crust pastry. I guess you can try one and see, but I would fry, if the instructions say fry.
